… but where do you get your protein?

usually when people ask me this, i enlighten them and they are happy (beans, nuts, seeds, quinoa, tofu, tempeh, etc.)
but sometimes people react to me like i am lying to them and that i can’t possibly be healthy
i understand ignorance, but after being informed of something you’d think most people would lighten up

for the record, i have great blood and no vitamin or nutrient deficiencies as confirmed by a recent blood and urine test

in fact my blood protein level is 7.0 (the healthy range is 6.2-8.3 g/dL), the same as my dad who is an avid meat eater

if you eat right, you won’t have nutrient deficiencies
it’s that simple

i’ve been doing this for two years, and i’m not going to stop
