karaoke mood
new year’s resolution 2012
my new year’s resolution failed for last year which was to exercise more. i think it failed because i was not specific at all with it. this year i will have a multi-point resolution as follows (plus self talk in parentheses):
- exercise at least 30 minutes per day (ddr is really easy and fun cardio, also go running with aly!)
- stop overeating (the world isn’t ending tomorrow and there’s no need to eat like it is… that’s why you used to be obese)
- cut down further on processed foods and get more whole fruits and veggies in (plan ahead, don’t use lack of time as an excuse)
- cut down food spending by engaging in the resolution above this (processed food is expensive!)
- as per point 3, make sunday the official meal planning for the week day (make spaghetti squash in large quantities, mashed squash, quinoa loaf, c’mon man!)
i’ll edit this if i think of anything else, but i’m determined to make these changes and stay fit!
